Texas A&M has actually been fined $100,000 after fans stormed the field following Saturday’s 41-38 win over Alabama, the SEC revealed on Monday.

The cash from the fine will enter into the SEC’s post-graduate scholarship fund.

It was cash well invested, and a really deserving celebration for a field-storming (unlike another fanbase that was slammed for storming the field after a close win as the higher-ranked and preferred group). Alabama was the No. 1 group in the nation, the safeguarding nationwide champs and entered into College Station riding a 19- video game win streak and a 100- video game win streak versus unranked challengers.

But the unranked Aggies put an end to all of that, and the postgame event showed the enormity of the minute.
